St Andrew's Choir
St Andrew's choir is Royal School of Church Music affiliated with a long, distinguished history and is known to be one of the most competent in Thanet. The choir leads the singing at our main family communion service on Sundays at 10 am, offering an anthem sung during communion. The choir is also in attendance at 6:30 pm Evensong, on the first Sunday of the month, when the Book of Common Prayer service is used.
Choir practice is held on Friday evenings from 7 pm for about an hour. The choir is always keen to welcome prospective new members and sings mostly in four part harmony. All that is asked for is the ability to sing in tune with other members of the section, and also to be able to commit to regular practices and services.
